How many strips for crib quilts or baby quilts, without and with borders?

I did one ... then hated it. it was done at guild as a "class" and I striped my own strips and was planning on doing it for a QoV. I hated it SO much after it was done I sliced into it and added 30 degree stripes. Turned out to be more trouble but it is done and I am about to longarm it. This is what I ended up with. For me ... I will not be doing another.
