I have jst been reading about Jellygon quilts. Does anyone know the method of making them?
|
I have never heard of them.

Here is pictures of some. It looks to be a way to piece hexagons. I guess using jelly rolls give the name jellygons

Hmmm. I must admit these don't thrill me at all.

Looks interesting ;-)

looks like jellies cut in a trapezoid shape, 2 traps make a hex....way too many seams to match for me.
|
Looks like everything old is new again. Looks like my grandmothers flowergarden hexagon design but done in a different pattern.
This is another tactic used to sell small cuts of fabric for twice the price. I personally can't see why so many people buy them. Jellyrolls and all these sweet names, but are they really worth the price? Am I missing something here? Ditter |
Interesting. I don't think I'll be making these any time soon.
|
Another use for jelly rolls :D:D:D
