I've stayed away from patterns using them but I would definitely try something if I could figure this out in a different size. Trial and error maybe...... My Issue with Bloc Loc rulers is you can only make one size - so it requires purchase of several of the same tool if you want to make different sizes...………….

I use Eleanor Burns flying geese rulers all the time and love them. I have all sizes of her fq rulers and enjoy using them so much

I use Eleanor Burns' flying geese rulers, too. Always come out perfect!

Go with the Deb Tucker tool and method suggested above. Videos are available on UTube. I usually go back and review it before starting a new quilt that contains flying geese. The block is created slightly over sized and her tool shows you how to create all those sizes then trim them down to get perfect geese. Be sure to purchase extra fabric to account for this. Saw her demonstrating some of her earliest tools at a quilt show many years ago. I started buying them then and now have every one she makes proudly hanging on my wall ready to grab and create any type of unit in a pattern or to create my own quilt design in Electric Quilt 8. But I see she has created some new ones. Time to get the checkbook out again.
