My wife and I were bored (happens to us empty-nesters every now and then) so we drove to our local Joann's Fabrics store to look at some purse patterns. BONANZA! The McCalls patterns are on sale for $1.99 each -- limit 10 per buyer. I left with 10 and my wife left with 7 more. These patterns usually run in the $15 - $17 dollar range each! On top of that the Gutterman (sp?) thread was 40 percent off! I also heard that there was going to be a $.99 sale on patterns next week? I see another trip in the immediate future.
