Has anyone ever entered one of these?

I'm thinking about entering a quilt but it's SITD quilting and I'm not sure if it has any shot of winning. I'm not expecting 1st place or anything, but it would be cool to know if anyone has even gotten 10th place to win the $50 gift card based on their design and piecing.

Part of me feels like some of these quilts are going to be quilted by an automated long arm machine and mine shouldn't be judged down because I could have had that done but didn't.

Just go for it. That's what I did with the McCall's contest and I'm still a finalist. Who'd have ever thought it possible?

I say enter it. Those automated machines aren't all that!

Is it just your Joanns that is doing the contest or is it all stores? I think I will check my Joanns tomorrow. I have one that I will enter if it's not too late.

It's all stores. The only possible problem is they want you to send photocopies of the receipts showing you purchased all the fabric from Joanns.
