JoAnn's sale today

I wanted to order some green fabric with gold scroll design. yesterday online it was $9.99. Today it was $7.99. I decided to drive to the store instead since I had to go out for Christmas cards anyway. 50% off !!!!. what a difference. That made it worth the drive. I wish online would keep up with the stores.

I really prefer to fondle all of my fabrics first. I have been known to find it on-line cheaper and Wanda and her girls will always match the on-line price. The only fabrics that I usually purchase from JAC on-line are my standards - Bleached white, black and natural Legacy Studios muslin. I stumbled on the black a few weeks ago and have decided that now I need to try all of their colors. If only they carried more colors in the store.

I agree. The sale are not always the same.

I found out the cotton batting ( 25 yds x 90 inch) I had ordered on Wed (online) sale for $99.99 was further discounted today only for $79.99 online with free delivery! One good side of this is that I used the price protection my credit card offers , so I will get back the $20 difference.

My local JoAnn's is going out of business, sorta. The town isn't real big, 20,000 or so, but has two stores. The two stores are merging into one in February. Saturday they not only honored all of the sales in the ad but also discounted on top of that. We bought almost $200 worth of fabric for $90. It was just our weekend for fabric though our LQS has a huge sale on Friday and walked with around $150 worth of fabric for $35.

Guilty....I'm a fabric fondler, too. I love a good sale but i like to fondle the fabric before I buy it.

I have bought snuggle flannel and have had good luck with it

I got batting in the spring on a roll for 60% off on a coupon I had. what a lucky deal. This is why I can't afford to shop lQS. ON MY BUDGET ,I can't afford to pay full price. I only live on half coupons. You can't beat it

Oh, the chuckle that this mental image gave me, lol.

We should start a club.

"Hi, my name is Peggi and I'm a fabric fondler...."

Everyone: "Hi, Peggi."

Most retailers have different prices online and in the store. JoAnn's coupons are usually good both online and in the store.
