Jordan Fabrics???
Has anyone bought any fabric from here? I just came across some of Donna's [from Jordan Fabrics ]tutorial on you tube and then went to her web page for her store. She really has some interesting tutorial and beautiful quilts. I was just wondering as I don't really buy much online and didn't know how there fabric was or there services and shipping.. Thanks
I believe I did buy something from them from a listing on Etsy, no problems.
Jordan does have great tutorials on u-tube and lots of beautiful fabric. I too, was wondering about their fabric.
She has some good tutorials with great detail.
Thanks for mentioning this place. I just read "our story"- very interesting! It look like a nice site and I love youtube videos. I'm going to check it out some more!
All the fabrics listed on her site are major manufacturer quilt-shop quality.

I have purchased from them several times, usually at the Paducah quilt show, but have online ordered too. The log cabin kits are perfect for a quick quilt and are cut precisely. Sometimes, the fabric seems a bit ravel-y but not enough to make a seam allowance difference. I make donation quilts & use 2 or 3 kits for those. Packaging & shipping are excellent. Kathy

I visited their store in Grants Pass, Oregon not long ago. Though the store was small, they offered a large selection of good fabrics. Prices were really reasonable, and I didn't notice any poorly made fabrics. The folks there were friendly and helpful.

I had not heard of Jordan Fabrics so of course had to spend time browsing. Thank you for this site. I love it. Her tutorials are great. I will definitely order from them when I need a new kit or even fabric. I did sign up for the newsletter.
It so happens I was just watching their Kaleidoscope cutting video and just loved it. I highly recommend their UTube tutorials, but have never bought anything from them.

I had recently made a quilt for a grandson using a Moda Jurassic Jamboree layer cake that I had purchased from a fellow quilter. Then I decided I just "had to" make another one for another grandson but could not find the fabric anywhere. Then I found a log cabin pre-cut kit w/that fabric rom Jordan Fabric and ordered it. Decent price, great fabric and quick delivery. I would definitely recommend them.

Have ordered from them several times. Great customer service. They were short some yardage that I ordered and contacted me via e-mail right away and gave me some options. Their fabric is quilt store quality only and they sell from high end manufacturers. I like their kits, all cuts are precise and turn out great.

It looks like a good place.
Thanks for the tip! Lovely fabric. Reasonable kits!
I ordered a kit from them. Kit came correct and fast delivery. Good packaging.
I have ordered several kits from them. The kits are very precise, and they work up beautifully! I highly recommend them.
I enjoy watching her videos, and if I was not on a no buying fabric diet, I think she would be one of my places to shop.
Your profile photo ... do you have a pattern that you would share?? Also, would you mind showing a full photo of the quilt. 98% of my quilts are using Horse Panels and/or Pillow Panels. My complete family are horse folks and that's what I like to make for them. I don't do any quilts for anyone other than family members. Running out of ideas and afraid to branch out. Has anyone else out there ever felt this way? Boston Mom

I've bought kits from them a few times. The kits are wonderful! They are always generous with the fabric cuts and are precise. I highly recommend them.

Oh, I absolutely LOVE Jordan Fabrics! First, please realize that their fabrics are high-quality by known manufacturers -Moda, Hoffman, Kaufman, etc. Jordan's claim to fame, so to speak, is in their pre-cut kits. Now, I realize that some quilters may scoff at pre-cuts, but I use them a lot because I find that arthritis in my hands is such a problem that despite my best efforts using good tools, my cuts are not as accurate as I would like. (I have just purchased an Accuquilt GO!, but it will take time for me to purchase all the dies I want but, in time, I will probably purchase fewer precuts, but I don't see me discontinuing my kit purchases from this company). Anyway, my first order from Jordan's was a table runner kit, log cabin pattern, and it is stunning. I can't tell you the number of compliments I've received -and from quilters who are infinitely better than I. I then purchased a (split?) rail fence kit, and I just finished the quilt top and need to now add the borders. It is beautiful. Did I mention that I LOVE Jordan Fabrics? Yes? Well, let me say it again! I'm getting ready to have lumbar spinal fusion surgery, and I know that fabric cutting is out of the question, but I will be able to sew quilts tops, at least. I now have in my possession three additional kits, and I am giving serious consideration to ordering their log cabin kit (I would need 2, I think) Moda Civil War -Kansas Troubles 3). I will say this, you can do a nice throw size with one kit by using borders, but if you think you want larger and need more kits, make up your mind quickly. These kits disappear quickly, and you probably won't see them again. ALSO, order the fabric needed for borders if you want exact matches to your quilt - I didn't on my rail fence quilt, and neither the kit nor the fabric is now available. Also, customer service is excellent! Finally, let me just say that the videos are AMAZING! I've learned so much from them, and I look forward to making different types of quilts AND purchasing kits and fabric from this company for a long time to come!

Awesome place to go shop and buy fabrics!!! Top lines, great choices, wonderful tutorials, reasonable prices. I live near there, been many times, always happy with my visit and my purchases. I love the tutorials, have done several. She is a great teacher, has great tips and does not skimp on methods. Any tutorial you watch will give you something new and satisfying.

I absolutely love Jordan Fabrics. I have not ordered fabric from there but have ordered patterns. Love Donna Jordan's tutorials and she always used well known brands of fabrics. Also, her husband does all of the cutting of fabrics and there are no pinked edges on any fabrics.
I love her videos. I usually watch one in bed before I fall asleep - but haven't ordered anything from her yet. I don't have a stash so will have to wait til I am in need of something particular. I read an earlier thread where their kits are good, so that is a possibility.

Terrific company. Have order fabric, kits and patterns from them. Received their daily newsletter. If you have any questions, they will respond quickly. All good fabric and patterns.
I have bought quilt kits from them and really like them. Good quality fabric and excellent cutting--no pinked edges! I know pinked edges are good when buying mass produced precuts, but love the straight edges Jordan's cuts! I love their tutorials also. Thanks to Donna I'm finally going to make a Lone Star.

I've bought several kits or precut sets from them and the fabric is all high quality from known manufacturers like Moda, Free Spirit, Kaufman, Hoffman, etc. If you order something and they are out of it, they will e mail you to pick something else or eliminate it from your order. Very accommodating, I think.

I have purchased yardage from them and been very pleased with the quality and service. They are also very good about answering questions that one may have. Their newsletter is fun and always has customer's projects for inspiratons.
