Judy Niemeyer class
Hi, I bought a pattern for her Mariners Compass and would like to find a class to learn her methods. I would like to take the class within the next 6 -9 months. Does anyone know of a class?
Thanks. Patricia |
Maybe have a look here for a certified teacher in your area http://www.quiltworx.com/certified-p...-and-teaching/

any local quilt stores in your area? I took a class at one near me not too long ago.

She has a lot of videos on You Tube. You might want to check some of them.

Craftsy has a class on Judy Neimeyer process. It is very informative on how to get organized and create a small quilt. It's a good place to start if you don't have LQS teaching one of her classes.

Taking a class is the way to go if you have never done one of Judy's quilts. This paper piecing is very different than Carol Doaks. Judy does list all her instructors and class times on her site. Just need to decide how far you want to travel.

I would love to take a class from her. She is so talented. I have two of her patterns but haven't quite found all the fabric I need.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...l-t270708.html So it isn't absolutely necessary. If you have experience paper piecing and doing set in seams you will have no trouble following her directions without taking the class. |
How far do you want to travel? Lee's Summit, Mo , Quilters Station is having classes in November. Call them for details.

Judy N Classes
Our guild just had a certified Judy N. speaker with trunk show. She owns Mt. Pleasant Quilt Shop in York NY 585-243-0767 (western NY). She is hosting Judy, Herself, on 11/4. Don't know where you are located, but I bet taking a class from the original designer is better than a regular shop class.
