Does this machine come with a 1/4" seam allowance foot for piecing? Is the speed of the machine mainly used for FMQ?

I am thinking of purchasing it to get myself into the 21st century with my sewing and quilt making (I have a 50-year old Riccar which has been very good to me). Also, I want to learn to FMQ.

Any advice or information on this machine would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

mine came with a 1/4" foot, but i didn't like it. i prefer my kenmore one with the fence at 1/4". unfortunately, it does not fit the juki.
i found this site that lists the feet for the 98Q, which is the previous model to the 2010. it does not have the fence foot i like, but it does have a 'fence' attachment that screws in the bed. HTH

I have the 98Q, whiich I believe is similar. I don't like the 1/4 inch foot. I bought an old fashion screw-in guide for a couple of dollars at my LQS. And then realized I had one already that had come with my 1953 15-91! It's easier for me.

I just bought the JUKI 2000... (only difference from the 2010 is it Doesnt have a speed control). It did come with a 1/4 inch foot (the main foot) but it also comes with a handy screw in guide. LOVE IT!! Made it so easy to use the speed of the machine and keep things accurate. I was putting together a purse, and I zipped right thru it! I dont notice the speed to be only for FMQ at all...
