juki oil
I finally caved and bought a juki 2010q, now where do you buy the oil for this machine?
|
I bought it from the sewing machine dealed where I bought the machine. The 4 oz bottle says: Alpha Sew, Superior Sewing Machine Oil, no. s1749. Maybe you can find it online?
|
I also use the Alpha Sew oil in my Juki. I found it a my sewing machine repair shop, but it is available online.

Remember if the oil starts to show any tint of yellowing it should not be used in any machine.

I went around and around with this online, and I found one place where I could buy their exact kind, but it needed to be a gallon. A local dealer said to use Tri-Flow. I called Elbert at Juki and he said to use a good quality white oil like a Bernina oil or similar. He was very down on the Tri-Flow, so I didn't end up trying it. Not sure if others here are using it.
I'm not out of the sample oil, but thanks for the link. Hugs, Charlotte |
My 2000q came with a bottle.

Brewer sells a very nice sewing machine oil in a white squeeze bottle with a 4" brass spout. That's what we use, and sell in the shop. It's only $4.50 retail, and a very good quality sewing machine oil. Type "sewing machine oiler" in google images to see a picture of it. You can buy it lots of places online or your local sewing machine repair shop is likely to have it.

So you don't have to buy oil that specifically says Juki? I just purchased this machine, found the oil on Amazon but it's 35.00. Would my long arm oil work being I am oiling the machine EVERYTIME I use it?
