I have done quite a bit of research on good machines not only for quilting but general sewing including
light upholstery material and light leather..... I don't need any decorative stitches or alphabets- but a good adjustable zig zag, yes. |
Love my JukiTL98Q. It is always my go to machine & I know I can always depend on it, without question.

I have and enjoy my Juki 2010Q. No regrets. Expect to keep it for life, and someone will want it when they hold my estate sale.

Love my She is a workhorse and can handle many different thicknesses of fabric. Sometimes I don't even use the walking foot for several layers of fabric and she goes right along, feeding it all beautifully. I do take care to oil her as recommended. My sister-in-law has the 98 model (for many years) and just purchased the 2010Q. We are both fans!!

I love my Juki 2010Q! It quilts like a dream.

Love my Juki 600!

Love my Juki 2010Q also. I waited a long time before buying it, and have never regretted it for a second.
You mentioned a price of $950...I was able to get a "show model" from a dealer all the way across the country (in California). Shipped to me free, and under $700. Be sure to check around for bargains! |
I just got (yesterday) a Juki F-600 Exceed. I am SO impressed with it so far and I love it. I think my other machine may end up feeling a bit neglected…. I got it primarily for FMQ but it sews so nicely… and it's so quiet.. I may end up doing most of my piecing on it as well.

I would advise anyone who is considering this machine to go for it. I love mine and have had it
for three years. I can't say enough about it. Great FMQ and straight stitch. As others have said, "it is a real workhorse". I purchased the Exceed 600 too for fancy stitches etc. and am very happy with that one too but the 2010q has a much bigger harp. These are great machines and I am very happy with both. Good luck. |
