Juki

Hi I am new to this post. I am purchasing a used Gracie 2 frame and was wondering if my Juki will fit on this frame without bringing the machine to the sellers house. My Juki has a 10" opening.
Thank you

Your Juki should fit with a 10" throat especially with the Gracie 2 frame. I have the original Grace frame. I do not have the Juki, but a Brothers, for my frame and I have used it for years now, until recently. You should be pleased with the frame if this is your first experience with this kind of quilting. Be sure you get the stitch regulator for it. The current owner may have that too and be selling it along with the frame.

I used a Juki on a Little Gracie II before I upgraded my system. It worked just fine. I have the Juki TL98QE

I have a Janome on a Grace II frame...works well for me. But you should know that as you wind the quilt up on the take up bar your actual quilting space gets a lot smaller. There are times when I only have about 4 inches in depth that can be quilted, so the choice of quilting patterns is very limited. For me it works, as the majority of my quilts are for Project Linus/children's quilts. Sometimes I even have to take the quilt off the frame, put the bottom to the top and repin it and then start quilting again to get it all done.
