Juki TL2010Q

I am wanting a new machine with a larger throat. Thinking about the juki. I have a limited income and this would be in reach. I do all my own FMQing and a larger throat would be nice. I am now using a Singer Confidence Quilter machine but the throat is only about 6.5 X 5. I have done king size quilts on this but a few more inches would be nice. Have researched and want to test drive one soon. Would love a longarm but alas not in my budget. Also don't want a computerized machine or an embroidery machine or need a bunch of bells/whistles to FMQ. For those of you that have this machine, how do you like it.

Love it. I wanted a simple machine with a larger throat, it sews perfect right out of the box. I did my homework and found out the online prices, then went into the local dealer who matched any online price.

I've had mine for about 2.5 years. It was perfect right out of the box! Rarely do I even touch the tension. It isn't fussy about thread. It's my favorite machine and I highly recommend it!

Dependable and I love the compensating foot for quarter inch seams....I also have a Janome 8900 with a much larger throat but it cannot compare to the quarter inch seam even with the moveable needle.

Love it, go for it.

Great machine! I have had mine for two years now. No problems whatsoever. Not fussy about thread. I have used 12 wt cotton and it looks gorgeous. I have also used nylon invisible thread, and only needed to adjust the top tension. The only minor drawback is that the two FMQ feet which come with the machine are of the "hopping" variety. I purchased a Sharon Schamber foot. It works on the Juki, doesn't hop, and can be adjusted to glide over the quilt top. I recommend this machine. Great value for the price.

Love mine, totally. It's not fussy about thread or anything else, it's just a workhorse. Mine was a "show model" from an online dealer, so I got a reduced price and the full warranty was included too. Purchased it from a dealer in California and it came all the way across the country in like 4 days. Great experience with both the purchase and the machine itself. :)
