I think I would do the aforementioned echo, and stitch in the ditch around the sashing. Such a cute quilt!

That's really cute - will certainly make someone happy.

Fun quilt. I too would stitch in the ditch around the blocks to secure and cross hatch in the blocks. If you have a walking foot, it may have a guide on it which can be used to measure the width of a line. Then I would draw a diagonal line through the center of each block in both directions. Stitch on the line, then for the next line, use the guide. The quilting part always intimidates me, but this method works for me. I bought a foot for the stitch in the ditch and it really helps.

This came out adorable. I, too, tried the site and it was hard to navigate and find things. Did not find yours either. But you did a fabulous job. The zebra print is busy so don't spend a lot of time trying to do fancy quilting and do a meander or SITD. Definitely go around your animals. If you are accurate, I would go exactly on the edge and then again in an echo, then a smallish meander to make the animals pop, but I am far from an expert.

Really cute quilt, I would echo quilt around the animals as well, and probable fmq between.

I love doing echo quilting with this type of block. It really emphasizes the animal. I might do a long zigzag in the frames or just a SITD (mainly to give a nice definition on the back). The sashing and the border could be anything you are comfortable with. The zebra lines aren't too linear or to curvy, so either type of stitching would work. I think if I did a SITD in the frame, I would probably just do a gentle curve down the sashing. This would be simple but enough stitching to allow for a lot of use (and abuse) from a child. BTW, love this print, the animals are just silly enough.

That is so, so cute!!! I agree with others about echo quilting around the animals and stitch-in-the-ditch around each block, then meandering in the sashing and borders.
