Do any of you have one of these? do you like it? Any suggestions, please?

I don't have that model. I'm a B/L, Brother kinda gal :lol:. Just wanted to say CONGRATS!! You're going to have so much fun!!

The only advice I can give you is to stand in front of a mirror and practice saying "NO" over and over, because people will come out of the woodwork and ask you to embrodier everything under the sun and of course they expect it to be no charge.

I have the XL6000 and XL1000. Love them both. There are many places you can go on the internet and get free designs. Have fun with it.

Embroider a sign that says "will work for thread" then when you are asked to make something give the person a shopping list of brand preferred, colors and quantities etc, also don't forget the stabilizers needed. Inform them that you get to keep any extras as payment. That way you can build your thread and stabilizer stash.
