My headphones/music. Music on speakers is just not the same. And I will admit, if you don't tell anyone, that when no one else is home, I belt it out at the top of my lungs. When I hear songs now, it always takes me back to which quilt I was working on when I was into that song.
The other thing is my utility apron. I keep my scissors, the small ends of the red snappers, my ipod and a few other odds and ends in the pockets. Each item has its own designated pocket so I know right where to reach for it. My sister in law gave it to me for Christmas one year, from etsy, and I've loved it ever since. It clashes with the color scheme in my sewing room, though, so I've been considering making one just for sewing-- especially since I also use it to clean the house. I think it would be nice to have one for each task. |
