Oh my goodness, how exciting! I can't wait to hear how wonderful it is. I'm still practicing patience. I want one so much, but can't seem to make myself go for it....

Thank you all!! I am just so thrilled...I think it's going to be perfect to get me started. It's own by a woman who runs a small quilting business with it and she's even finishing up quilts on it this week before her big wait for her upgrade machine, so that gives me confidence that it sews well. I'm so EXCITED!!!

Oh you are SO kind, thank you!!! I am really thrilled too - I cannot wait to see what this machine will allow me to do! I have been dreaming of space and an easy work area and it is a dream come true. I've got a stack of quilts all waiting to be practiced on!!!

Wow, how wonderful! One of the pro long arm quilter's in my area offers private lessons. You might want to see if the current owner would do the same. Would get you jump started.

How exciting!! Such anticipation.. you must feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning.

That's awesome!! The woman I am purchasing this from is a very proficient quilter and currently has a small business using the very machine I am buying so I am feeling really confident that I'll be off to a good start - I would certainly pay her for a few lessons but she lives two hours away!! :)

Congratulations. Now give yourself time to play before really quilting a good quilt. I am still picking out my first quilted quilt. I had the thread and backing so well matched I did not see the tension prob! 2 months later I'm still picking. I was just going to put a false back on it and decided I would be dead and not able to defend myself if someone took it apart and saw these horrible problems!!!!

I have had two Ultimate ones and love them both. I am still using my 1997 Ultamate one. You will love working with APQS for any quistions and parts. My husband does all the repairs and they talk him through them on the phone. I recantly just got new wheels for my machine and if glides so smoothly that I had to learn how to quilt all over agine. Good Luck, you will love your machine.

Congatulations on your APQS. I bought a APQS Freedom in December 2012 and have not regretted it a minute!. I love it andIO ahve quilted lots of quilts on it already. I'm sure you will love yours, too.

Oh no!! I'm a good tension nut so I'll definitely spend some time making sure all is looking well - thanks for the tip about the blending thread! :) Where in Ohio are ya??

Oh I'm so glad to hear this. I'm really happy with the lady I'm buying this from, she's really kept it updated as much as one could without adding stitch regulation. I was really nervous about that too but after trying out a few stitch regulated machines I think I'm actually going to prefer manual mode over SR. I am so thrilled, thank you for your comments and input, I seriously cannot sleep now!! Just a few more days! :)
