Just a heads up!

I was at Joann's yesterday and was told that on Feb. 5th the Warm and White and the Warn and Natural batting is going up $1.00 a yard. So now is a good time to use the 50% coupon off and stock up!

mommessy 01-13-2012 05:17 AM

Thanks for the tip!

coldquilter 01-13-2012 05:20 AM

Very good tip. Thanks, I use many, many yards of that per year.

zennia 01-13-2012 05:22 AM

Thanks for the warning. Hope to get there this week-end. I'll have to stock up because I am busy finishing up a lot of tops i have laying on shelves.

I purchased a whole bolt on Black Friday. 50 percent +additional 20 percent. Thanks for helping me feel like I did the right thing.

I had to run to Target today and Joanns is next door. It was so hard for me to not go in. Guess I'll have to get back over there.

I bought a bolt online, I believe Cyber monday, for 199.00 with free shipping, Glad I invested in the bolt now.

pasolovers 01-15-2012 04:35 AM

Can someone tell me the difference between Warm and Natural and Warm and White.........or is it the obvious - just the color.

Thanks, Pat

Thanks, but there is not a Joann's close by my area so I started ordering HOBB's batting from Connecting Threads and really like it.

Seems like every time we go to the store something is more expensive. I really feel bad for people out of work. I have three grandchildren who are through college and one works in a deli and the other two have not found a steady job yet!

Yes thanks a bunch. I have a decent supply of batting, but tons of projects in the works, so guess I'll go use my coupon as soon as I can get there. Have a great day.

Thanks, Pat

It is just the color, one is bleached the other is not.

I lived in Maryland until last year. The JoAnns I shopped at was small, crowded and junky. Now I live in PA and they are building a brand new JoAnns in Hanover. I can't wait for it to open. I think it will be soon.

vjc 01-15-2012 05:30 PM

The difference in Warm & Natural and White is one is a natural color and the other one is white. Same item just a choice of a natural or white color. Hope this answers your question.

Mommomjoann 01-15-2012 07:00 PM

I didn't recieve a lyer this week, did anyon get one?

bluadept 01-16-2012 07:10 AM

Actually all batting is 50% off right now at joann's. If you have a guild card, you can get a VIP card which will deduct another 10% off of anything that is on sale. I picked up some warm and natural yesterday and it was $5.49/yd plus a additional 10% off of that for $4.94 a yard. It is on sale till at least saturday 1/21. go for it. I only picked up 10 yds. I have been doing mainly tops for my charity group so I don't use much batting but if it is going up a $1 a yard I might go back and get another5-10 yards. I know how many quilts I have planned already that are not for charity (15) so I better get some now.

babyboomerquilter 01-16-2012 10:01 AM

Thanks so much for the heads up. It really is a good time to stock up!
