Just learned how to ....

use the serger foot with my Janome DC2011! Too cool! lol I am working on a pattern that called to zig zag or serge the raw edges first. I remember reading my manual that I had a foot that would do this, so I pulled out the manual, got the foot, changed the settings and off I went to try it. So cool! Sorry, I had 2 feet with my Singer, the regular one and a walking foot. So to have, I think, 7 feet, I am in awe!

It hasn't been quite a month yet, but I have used my machine alot and used about 2 of the extra feet. I am still in love! So glad I found this machine at a great price! Even for a used machine, she is super clean and runs great!

Good for you, you need to do more experiments.

I would love to try a zipper, even bought a zipper to have in stock for the "just in case I get brave" moment. lol Need to try the button foot too.

I'm impressed that you're playing around with the machine. I think that's the best way to learn its's features. And should take my own advice and play with my machines more! :)

Good for you! Playing with a new machine is always fun. Bite the bullet and do the zipper - they're not that bad!
