I used to have a dresser with ironwork around the mirror that when I looked at it I thought of how it would look as a hand quilting design in a quilt. Got rid of it though.

I was watching the NOVA series on PBS this week and they had an updated report on Fractals, along with some history. It was a fascinating program (as usual). Now I've known about fractals for decades, but all of a sudden I wondered if I could somehow make a quilt with fractal patterns? Somehow I can't get my mind around that one.... Anyone heard of a fractal quilt pattern? |

I got at least three quilt patterns - two from tile floors and one from a houndstooth check sweater. This is one of DH's tiny piece quilts.

I saw that program too. I googled it and this what I got...
http://www.google.com/search?client=...UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 It's the google page listing the patterns |
Some of them remind me of crop circles

I don't dream of quilts, yet anyway, but I think I saw a lady at Walmart last week that does. She had on a pair of pants made of about 4" squares...I'm sure I stared!

I also watched that program and those pictures were beautiful and set me a wondering also.
