Just sharing an idea
My mother has had a problem with bird-nest in the underside of the quilt when sewing with her mid arm machine, sometimes she wouldn't catch it right away. Her husband says "if you put a mirror under there you could see if it was ok or not" so out she goes to the general box store and buys 2 cheap behind the door mirrors for $5 each and says they work great. Thought I would pass that along to those who are just learning like mom is.

Are you saying long type mirrors ? That is a super idea. Thanks for telling us.

That's a great idea.

thanks for the tip. that is a good one.

Yes mirrors really work and a light under the quilt helps too. (so you can see what the mirror shows)

I put three large tile-type mirrors together on top of my LA table and it really helps. Now if I could just quit making mistakes...:)
