Thanks, I will check it out!

I have never blogged, or read any, but I am going to go look at yours now. I seriously doubt anyone would want to read mine.

Shelia,
Looks like this is going to be a nice blog. I'll keep checking back for updates!!
Your quilts are beautiful.

I like to write especially when I'm out of sorts- seems to help. I have no idea how to make a blog. Can you tell me??

quiltinghere 05-18-2010 07:44 AM

I'd like to do something like that but don't want to 'talk about myself'...

You just go to www.blogger.com and follow the instructions.

Looks, like your blog will be nice... I love the quilts you have up there already, especially the pink and brown. How excactly do you do the pink flowers that you added? Absolutely beautiful!

Great start! I just adore your log cabin-type block! Does it have a name?

Lisa773 05-18-2010 02:37 PM

Sheila,
You have a very nice blog site and your quilts are beautiful.
I have a blog, but it is an "urban homestead" blog. Not very interesting on a quilting board. LOL
Great job!

Never figure I'd have anything to say that other people would want to read. My DD blogged about her attempt to get pregnant and it's very painful to read.

Marjpf 05-18-2010 02:49 PM

Sheila - I like your blog. Very upbeat. I have bookmarked so can follow along.

I started one two years ago initially geared toward quilting, but other topics sometimes sneak in.

The address is listed below.

I travelled that road. It is awful. I do not understand why others want to see someones pain so close. That poor girl, she needs to stop putting her pain out there for others enjoyment. This is NOT helping.

I am impressed it looks pretty good.

I tried blogging. So far I have erased every post I attempted, I can't post pictures and I can't figure out how to post other sites.

I would love for my family to see my blog, but it is to embarassing to show off

Nice blog...I don't facebook, twitter or blog. I just come here and also I have one other group I visit from time to time, which is a support network for people with Lupus, I like to check in on Aussie's Living Simply, which is a ecofriendly, gardening, self-sufficiency network. I am a bit shy sometimes, and though I enjoy reading blogs, I don't think I have a great deal to contribute. Wish you every success with yours and hope it works....could be good for generating some business your way.

Aw! You couldn't be more wrong on this one particular point! All of us would love to hear more about your life in Oz! It's a whole `nuther lifestyle "down south" ...one that few of us know much about.... :)

Pam 05-18-2010 08:43 PM

Yes, do keep in touch. We love to read what others are doing.

mbunny 05-18-2010 09:05 PM

I just started, and am not particularly pleased with mine yet, but nonetheless, you can find me at handmadebymolly.blogspot.com

I started blogging a little over a month ago. I had one other one that was not public and used it to send pictures to family, etc. It is no longer in use.

This one is for quilting and sewing only....it is public but with very little personal history.

Ninnie 05-19-2010 01:56 AM

I have had one for a year now. It is a fun way to keep up whth what you are doing, and my family can check in and see also, Good luck with yours!

athenagwis 05-19-2010 02:05 AM

I currently have 3 blogs!! :) But my sewing/life one is in my signature. Thanks for sharing your blog, I am always looking for more blogs to add to my blog reader.

I am new here too and just started my blog last week. I'd love to check your out. I am getting ready to put my shop items on it today and start promoting, but I also am doing Sewing Tips and Recipe of the Month, plus about life in general. So far, it's been fun, but now the key is to get followers......
