Just wanted to say thank you
 

Good afternoon everyone.
Just wanted to say thank you to all the members on this board .
I started to quilt around last Jan.
And have had so much help from all of you and talked me through it.
When I started I had never even turned on a sewing machine and was cutting by hand and had just a steal yard stick . You guys have showed me so much .
And thank you .
And one big thank you to a member that even sent me some lights that I could not get up here.
And when I asked her how much I owe her she just told me to pass it on . So nice to meet people that are helpful and care about others.
Just so you all know we the new quilters really do appreciate your help.

There is so much inspiration and help found from the members of this board.

Thanks from me too! I'm most thankful for the inspiration I get from the beautiful quilts members share here. I will never live long enough to make all of the quilts on my bucket list.

Quilters are some of the most caring & giving people I've ever met. They seem to want to share not only everything they know about quilting but they share their beautiful work with others also.

Tom, you have picked a fantastic hobby. I have found that when I'm not feeling well because of something that might have gone wrong during the day, I can lift my own spirits by sitting down at my machine & making a small gift for someone or continue working on an ongoing project. Quilting takes my mind to a whole different realm....it's soothing to the soul.

A big "thank you" goes out to all of the QB members also from me. Every time I need help or searching for something, there is so much feed back on a kind and generous level. Everyone on this board goes above and beyond to help. Quilting makes the ugly things in the world and my personal life go away for awhile! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Don't stop quilting! One of these days you will be helping and giving advice. It'll come sooner than later.LOL

I to have learned so much since I have been a part of the site. Everyone is great and eager to help.

My dear sister-in-law introduced me to the Quilting Board Daily Digest a few years ago, and I have learned so much from you all!!! It is lovely to have a cup of coffee and check the threads/pictures every morning. Thanks, Laurie!

Me too! I may not always reply, but I read this board daily, with my coffee, I learn so much from everyone and any time I have a question it is quickly solved

You may add me to the grateful group. Each and everyone here makes quilting an enjoyable and quite manageable hobby.

I have quilted for over 20 years but I feel the same as you do about this great board. I learn new things on here all the time. Also I love to see pics of everybody's projects. So much fun!

This is the beat site ever! I have learned so much more than from my local Quilt Guild. Everyone is positive and helpful. Thank y'all!

This is a great place to stop by....not only for all things quilting, but the other stuff too. If you are ever stuck, need some advice, a kick up the pants or just somewhere where you will be understood, here's the place. Collectively, there's hundreds of years experience here to tap into.....what more could a quilter want.

I totally agree! So much help with not only how to do things, but links to websites, ect. Thanks everyone!

I have found over the years that quilters are a very generous group of people, happy to share their knowledge or whatever is needed to fellow quilters. I know I have learned a lot since I first joined QB.

Greatest group of people I have ever met, and learned so much from and am still learning.

I agree that this is definitely a place with great ideas and willing helpers.

This really is an extraordinary group of very talented people! I've learned so much from everyone!

I love this board and it's members. As a novice quilter, I don't have much to offer but I visit the site every day and am always encouraged and motivated by the works of others so I thank those experienced quilters who are talented, creative and especially patient with us newer students!
