I haven't made any yet, but I think I will. They not only protect the table, but they catch the dust! And I hate dusting.

If I had a nice big house I would make them too. I just can't see them in my 4 rooms downstairs house, you know my kitchen/laundry room combo is already cluttered.lol I do see many beautiful ones and would like to make them as a quick project but have no room, after all I am always folding laundry on my table lololololol

I buy them on here from other members just so I have something made by them and I make my own and for gifts too. I use them everywhere.....And I swithc them out all the time. Love the looks on my dining room table and the kudos I get from visiting friends. Can't have enough.

I use mmine all the time. I change them depending on the special occassion or Holiday. I get lots of complements on them as well.

I have one on top of my dryer. I find it stays cleaner that way and I can still put things on it. Give it a try!

Runners are not only fun to make, but look so nice on tables or stands. They also make quick gifts.

I love them but my darn cats jump on any type of fabric, no matter where. They are naughty hahaha :D

I've never used even One, but see lots of them talked about here. I understand the fact you can use them as a quick Quilt project to learn on but after that they seem useless to me. why not make lap size ones and donate to a charity? Lori K. 8-)

I decorate very modern/minimalistic. I don't do table runners either.

Sometimes its just a good way to get a bit more color into the room... and cheaper than flowers.
Or its like a really big coaster on a coffee table.

I just made a very pretty spring color one from the 10 minute TableRunner pattern. I use two long ones instead of place mats for the table sides. I stagger two lengthwise on my table for a more formal look. I use a runner on my kitchen counter top. They are easy to toss in the laundry and when I get tired of them I don't mind cutting them up and making potholders or other projects. I use a variety of special fabrics I find on sale to make super nice table runners to put on banquet tables. It's amazing how one small detail makes a big difference in the look of pot luck tables.
