Kai Scissors

For those of you who have the Kai scissors - what size or type do you recommend? Do you use the snips? What about the double bend embroidery scissors?

I received a gift card for Christmas and would like to treat myself to the Kai scissors that many of you have been raving about. Thanks.

Any size is great but I use the blue handled one the most , maybe 8 inches. Not Cheap but very comfortable to use.

I have these:

Best scissors I've ever had.

I would love some great scissors, but these are made in China! I try not to spend my money on products that aren't Made in America.

They are made in Japan.

I also love Karen Kay Buckley's serrated scissors line...

I also love Bordeaux scissors, like cutting through butter.
I have kai, buckley, Bordeaux and Ghinger. Great brands, all sizes.

I love Kai scissors - they are so lightweight and cut wonderfully. I don't like huge scissors and have found that I especially like their model 5627 7 1/2" scissors with large areas for my fingers. I also have 5100c, the 4"curved scissorsfor home and my travel kit to snip threads when I sew or embroidery. Enjoy your gift certificate!

I have my great grandmother's and grandmothers Gingher scissors and some Karen Buckley's. I prefer the Karen Buckleys - the serrated edges don't push the fabric away from you so I've found them easier to use (don't know if this will be helpful to anyone else but I have RA and my hands are affected by it).
