I'm a little confused on these two rulers. Do the Kaleido-Ruler and the 60 Degree Triangle Ruler do the same thing?

I'm new to quilting so I'm having some trouble with the angles. Is the Kaleido-Ruler a 60 degree, or more like a 40 degree? I assume the 60 degree gives me 6 sections, for hexagons, right? Does the kaleido give you more like 8 sections?

Any help appreciated, having a blonde day.

I don't think you are having a blonde day. I think you right in you assumptions.

The Kaleido-Ruler has several different angels so you can have a 4, 6, or 8 panel kaleidoscope block. The 60 degree ruler will make only the 6 panel one.
