Place a ball, about the size of a marble, made of the yellow tacky stuff ( teachers use to hang all kinds of things on their classroom walls )on your sewing machine. Mine is in the front right hand side at the top where it does not interfere with anything. I hang my small seam ripper there. . Just push the seam ripper into the yellow ball and it's stuck. Now I know where at least one of my seam rippers is handy. Yellow stuff can be removed at any time with no residue left.

Now why didn't I think of that?
Right now I have 3 or 4 seam rippers at different places around my sewing area. That way, no matter where I'm sitting, there is one within arm's reach. Sounds like I use them alot, doesn't it? True!

I'm going to have to get some of that stuff.

I have a collection of several seam rippers, because I can never find it when I need it. Thanks for this tip.

I never had problems keeping track of the seam ripper, but when I used to sew doll clothes I changed feet a lot, so the little screwdriver thingy was always needed. I glued about a square inch of velcro onto the side of my sewing machine, and to the screwdriver thingy and boom, no more problems!

That's a good idea. Mine is always rolling around and I don't want to use
a magnet near/on my machine.

I taped the top half to my sewing machine & try to replace the ripping half when I use it.
