Hi, I have never used or bought keepsake calico brand fabric...is it good or bad. I don't want to buy it have it fall apart in my quilt. Please advise :)

I am pretty sure you are talking about the Keepsake calico at JoAnns? I think everyone has their own opinions on it. I like it fine, there are some nice ones, some thinner. Just kind of pick it upm, feel it, so if you can see through it?
I use it alot, hasnt fallen apart yet! |
thanks :) that helps.

They vary. Some are very nice, some I don't like the feel of. It's one of the brands I'd rather check out in person before buying.

Personally, I would steer clear of it for a bed quilt (the JoAnnes Keepsake calico). When I first started quilting I made two bedsize quilts and it faded way beyond what I would consider normal and some of my blocks are already falling apart and this is a quilt that is rarely used. For wall hangings I think it is just fine as they don't get as much use and laundering as a functional bed or lap quilt. The wallhangings I have made with it are holding up just fine.
