What's a Kindle?

I bought my two DDs, granddaughter, Son in law, and DH each a Kindle for Christmas. One click and I was through with the main gifts. Can't beat the price right now. I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy the new newer one for myself.

It's an electronic book reader from amazon. There's also the barnes and noble nook and the sony reader.
