I was so excited that I figured out how to bind and makes it look really nice...I had to make another quilt. This is made from my left over charms that I made. I wil use it on the back of my couch for my kitties...they love to lay on the top back of my couch. This will prevent the hair from going on my couch.
My quilt for my kitties |
That is so cute. I love the colors. My kitties would not be on it because they would know I want them on it. They like the prohibited quilts best.

Cute

Cute quilt, I have several for my two cats also.

I sewed one of my cats with seam of steam light and the other with a glue stick. Both work but the one with the steam of seam on the back was more stable and did look better when sewing.

Perfect kitty quilt. The applique is a great finishing touch.
How many charm packs did it take? |
I made my own charm pack using my Go cutter. I bought fat qtrs for a purse class I am taking that needed 48 charms. I cut them up and with the ones that I had left over made this quilt. This took 45 - inch squares. I added a 2 1/2 inch border. For this quilt I used a piece of flannel for the batting.

Too cute! You have a great idea of applieque kitties in misc areas on a quilt! I'll have to try and hide a few on my next quilt!
