Knocking out UFOs - Wow, am I on a roll!
I have all my UFO stacked in my sewing area. Three stacks, almost finished, about 1/2 finished, tops only. Since yesterday afternoon I have finished 4 UFOs! They only needed a little more quilting and the binding put on. Going to try to finish two more today while GGS is in mothers day out. Wish me luck.

good luck!

Allright !!!!! You go girl
Well done.......isn't it amazing how that feeling of accomplishment just spurs you on !!! Don't forget some pics !!!
I am in awe of you...wish I could be that productive!
You go girl!! I wish I was making progress on my UFO's.
Good luck, keep them moving along and remember to show us some of them when they are done.
Best of luck to you!! I have 3 bindings on small projects to hand sew and plan on doing that yet today!! I enjoy sewing down bindings, so don't dread it, thankfully.
That's wonderful! Keep up the good work :)
 very impressive -- inspiration to all of us who have UFO's
Would love to see pics! You go girl! :)
Good for you. I don't have any UFOs, I totally finish a quilt before I start another. Just how I do things.
Oh, that must feel good!!!
Good luck. I love the feeling of accomplishment.
Isn't it great to be able to say I made 3 quilts today. Congrats.
My UFO's seem to get set aside for the most current project needed for the TV program. I think I need to do a TV program on UFO's. What do you think?
Well good for you. I am not that motivated lately, can't seem to get down into the basement and look through all my UFO's to see what needs to be done. I have been taking silly classes for things like leaf bowls and paper piecing apple leaf table runners. Ugh! I can't help myself.
Where are the pictures?
I'm doing the same thing you are. Get them done! Each one has a number now and as I finish the top I'm posting it for everyone to see That I did It. Sort of my reward! Keep going girl! peace |
WOW, good for you!
Yahoo! for you, Polly. Do you have a future project lined up and waiting for when you finish the UFO's?
Good for you! It always feels like such a great accomplishment to finish them all up. I did that a few weeks ago. I have a table where I stack my UFOs so they are never out of sight (out of mind). Of course I now have 3 more quilt tops that I have done since then, which need sandwiching and quilting on the long arm. I did finish 2 table runners yesterday, and am about half done with my 19 pillowcases I am making for charity; will finish them today. I will always have UFOs sitting around because I make several quilt tops at a time, then I can quilt them on the long arm one after the other. Then I bind them all at the same time too.
I'm in the same boat. Boy is it satisfying to be knocking them out! Congrats on the finishes!
When you get yours done. Will you please come to my house. I need the help. Putting on the binding to 4 quilts is giving me a pain in you know where. I wish you the best luck on getting them all done.
Pictures??
WOW! I have too many to count and some new need always takes precedence and another UFO falls in line. To date I have only completed one throw for myself. Oh well.......I love giving gifts, what can I say. My time will come eventually.

And just as I clean out or store things, I buy more fabric. Now I've got more rolled on bolts waiting to be put away. It's a non-ending battle. I think about the FlyLady often who says 15 minutes a day. And as far as UFOs go, I tend to finish up what is most necessary and then work BACKWARDS leaving the oldest UFOs behind. |

well if you run out of ufo's just let me know i have so many... i always have good intentions...lol..l but run out of energy and time... then move on to a new project.. which soon becomes an ufo...lol... good luck..
I wish I could get motivated like you! I've got 3 tops that need to be quilted and one that needs to be started, finished and mailed within the next 3 weeks!
I don't know why I don't finish quilts as I go. As I said, some are almost finished. I just get so impatient to start something new. Right now I have a Country Patchwork magazine on my nite stand that has a quilt called Picket Patch. If you have the magazine it is on page 8. It looks like a combination of a bears paw block and rows of 2" squares set in a rail fence design or zig-zag setting. It is a scrap quilt and I already have so many 2 1/2" squares cut, but I am not going to start that quilt until I get at least most of these UFOs done. I Swear!!

Congratulations. Good for you. Wish I had mine that close to completion. I have done several small UFOs in the last 2 days but the big ones are still 'hanging around'. LOL
it's been 2.5 weeks, how ya doin?
I admire those that can jump in and take off. I hope to do some of that in the coming year...as soon as I get done with: __, and__ and__.....;) |
Congratulations!!! I am impressed! This is something that I NEED to do!
