Hmmm. I just ordered Kaufman muslin from Hancock's of Paducah. When I looked up Kaufman Snow on that website, it did not indicate it was muslin, but rather indicated it was a Kona cotton solid. I have previously ordered Kaufman Kona cotton solid in black from Hancock's, and it is a heavier weight broadcloth type of weave; great fabric, but not what I would call muslin.

Must admit I'm getting confused. Just hope the Kaufman muslin is nice!

According to a posting from Robert Kaufman, Kona Cotton Solids and Kona Premium Muslin are different from each other.

So Snow is a color of the Kona Cotton? Ok. So I would choose the Kona muslin (whatever it is called) over any of the Kona Cottons. And I would buy Moda black over Kona. It is just too rough for me and collects dust and fuzz.

Hmmm. Thanks for the info, everyone. I may have to go back to the store and look at the bolt if it's still there. It said "Kona" on the bolt, I don't remember what the exact color name was and I didn't even look for "Kaufman". It is quite rough though. I didn't know there was Kona cotton and muslin, or anything about Kona Bay. I'll post what I find out! Thanks again!
