LA machine suggestion needed
Although I would like a Bailey I have an opportunity to purchase Handi Quilter Simply 16 Long Arm Quilting Machine for about $1000. It is a second hand machine and it first belonged to a LQS. It was purchased by a quilter who I think is upgrading and selling it. It works fine and has all the leaders, clamps, the table and a frame (don't know which one yet) but I can try it. It is time sensitive so please tell me if this is a deal not to be missed or rather something to let go and wait for a Bailey? Thanks for all your help.

I would definitely try out the setup, as it sounds like a great deal to me!!!

Try it out and see if you like it. At that price it is a steal. Besure the table is one you like. I had the HQ16 as my first LA and liked it but have upgraded. Besure the 16 has a big enough quilting area for you. Many blocks are bigger than you can do in a single pass with a 16, that is why I upgraded. Does this one have the stitch regulator, if it does that makes it an even better deal.

Buy it! Great price.

Try it and if you like it buy it. I have the HQ Sweet Sixteen and I really like it.

I have it too and love it. What a steal!! Grab it while you can.

Agree...try it out and grab it if you like it!

Love my HQ16 and that is a great price.

It sounds like a great deal, but you may later want to consider a frame to go with it. I think I answered one of your threads about my frame.

Awesome price!

I berlieve Handi Quilter is a very goode brand. It was my second choice when I bought my APQS. For $1000, grab it in a hurry. It will be good learning tool to see if you even like long arm quilting. For that price, you can use it for awhile, and then should be able to sell it easily if you decide to upgrade to a bigger machine.

I have one, and I love it! Yours sounds like a great price too!
