Our guild last year delivered over 300 xmas day. This year they need over 200 so since I had time and some orphan blocks I`m working on one but what to put on the label?
Would like to say happy holidays as I know Merry Christmas isn`t right any more or should I just leave this out and say To A Very Special Person My name and year? Thanks Gale |
I have worked in nursing homes for 20 years, I think "TO a VERY special Person" would be the best. I know these quilts are appreciated.

I agree, but I always say "Merry Christmas" if I want.
|
I always say Merry Christmas if that is what I want it to be.

The day I can't say Merry Christmas any more please just throw a quilt over me and cover me up!!!!!!!!!!!! I am never going to give in to 'Happy Holidays'.
I think they would love anything you put on the label. Thank you for doing quilts for them. |

I love Christmas. It is the reason for the season .There are residents that would think it Christmas every time they used their quilt!Residents also get a kick out of getting things from Santa.

I feel sad that people no longer say," Merry Christmas!" Since you made it and are giving it I think if that is what you want to say you should be able to do so.
|
Merry Christmas is appropriate. And the rest is good for th label too.
|
I think you should put on it whatever YOU wish. We are all too PC these days, and plenty of elderly in homes, don't understand PCness.
