I use those pre-printed labels like "Made Especially for You by...) or "Made With Tender Loving Care by ..." which I order and instead of just putting my name, I put my first and last name and YEAR. They are fast to put on. (I only make bigger and fancier labels if I want to give washing and/or storing suggestions.) I order a new set each year, cost about $9 for 20 or so. I have also tried to save a picture of each quilt, runner, placemat set,etc. for my own memory as well as to remember what I have given to whom. I put them in a small paged album and then can show them off to people I don't see often.
