Hey I´m new here but I need some help.
So I bought a secon-hand sewingmachine and I have a few problems with it. I´m not really sure if i just make a mistake while threading. I have never used such a machine and i also dont have a manual. If you have the same model I´d really appreciate some pictures or maybe even videos. Maybe someone has a manual? Thank you very much. |

Your machine looks like it is reverse of most. Try putting thread thru the guide on the top left. Then down the tension (little dial with numbers). Loop thru the guide below that and back up to the thread take up. That is the pats that goes up and down as you turn the dial on right. Back down to a little guide just above the needle and then thread the needle. See if that works for you

Make sure your pressure foot is up when running thread by the tension guide. Pretty machine

Pretty machine. |
I think I would have pounced on that machine pretty fast ...
... just because of the colour! https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/tongue.png I googled your thread title and there were quite a few hits. Some looked like possibilities. Of course, some appear to have no relevance. I'd suggest you take your time and pick through the links. Study the pics/videos. Maybe you'll figure it out, even if you do not find a manual. Good Luck! |
Please forgive me but I hope you didn’t pay much for this machine. It does have interesting threading but it looks and sounds like there is lots of plastic. The color is pretty cool though. Does anybody know what country this might be from? I treasure the manuals from all my machines, the oldest is a Singer from 1926 and it came with a manual. I did check the video and I finally could see that the lady did have the foot up when threading - that is where people can make a goof, even with the newest machine in the market. I don’t remember my Home Ec teacher way back in grade school ever telling us that, or even my Mom who was a fantastic seamstress. Didn’t learn that for years.
Please let us know how everything goes with this machine - it’s really interesting 🤔 Sandy in Mooresville, NC |
did you try putting your decorative dial in the "line " to the white dot.
my machine has to have the straight line at the dot to make straight lines. then thread length dial set to stitch length. just a thought. |
Hey, thank you very much for your answer.
And luckly it was pretty cheap I´ve tried diffrent threads and even magend to make them stop ripping/breaking. The only problem right now is that it when i try to use it i get knots and the treads get tangled at the bottom. Ive had that happen before and thats usualy a quick fix, not this time tho. Ié also tried to take apart everything I could with my mom to find the problem. Might have to call someone to take a look. |
