We aren't going on vacation until July. I plan on bringing my machine and doing some quilting. I also plan on checking out the LQS and garage sales in the area. You never know what you will find.

If you don't bring it, you will probably regret it. Even after shopping, there is always some down time to get something done.

If you have the room, bring it.

I would do both.

Perhaps some of the members here will know of some LQS's in the area. Have a good time. :-D

Excellent idea

I'd definitly visit the LQS. Check the internet of the area to find all the shops. Check your stash to see what you may need for future quilt projects.

Can you take some hand work, like sewing on a binding? I try and take some hand sewing every were i go!

I would hit the LQS in the area. You can sew when you get back home.

Explore the area. Bring a small tote with hand sewing to do - no machine! Why aren't you running?

EXACTLY - Which is why me staying in my room sewing might be kinder on my wallet. :)

Why not do a little of both?
