I love Sauder's and Burkholders... if you plan on getting up that way, let me know! I am less than 20 minutes from either one!

Burkholders is my favorite!!

my very favorite is martin's. $3.79 flat fold and there is quite a selection. i really don't care for sauder's. and burkholders is great. they always have an enormous selection of fabric choices.

My favorite is from that list is quilt & fabric shack. Their selection of flannel is beyond compare. And the rest of their fabrics are great as well. Nice sale room and good notions downstairs.

I would suggest Zook's in Intercourse, a new shop at the light in Blue Ball, and Good's Store in the Shady Maple complex. Good's has nice fabrics plus flat folds at around $3 a yd. When you arrive in the area, get the yellow map that available free a lot of places. There are more but these places are where I go.

has anyone tried family farm fabrics in east earl?

Just looked at the photos and I want to think I have been there. If it is the shop I am think of, it really has quite an extensive selection; good quality and decent pricing. Again, if it's the shop I'm thinking of, I purchased fabrics for a quilt for me there. In the process of hand quilting it now. Well, it's on the back burner until I get this baby quilt done.

Obies's is interesting. Do a search of Lancaster fabric shops and you can find most of them with a map. Happy Shopping.

Not sure that it's by Shady Maple. Seems to me it's a bit away from there but near something similar to Shady Maple. Have not heard of Imc. There is another place that is a huge basement-type building with great fabrics and prices. Can't think of the name offhand. When I dig out my yellow map I'll see if I can figure it out. They have quilting; garment and home dec stuff as well as lots of trims and things.

The new place in Blue Ball that ragamuffin mentioned is nice as well. They are affiliated with the quilt/craft shop located inside Shady Maple. I don't know that they were open very long when I was there last - maybe 6 months ago. Nice inventory but not much of it. Although I did buy fabric there and liked alot of what they had. Definitely worth a stop from a to b.
