Lancaster
 

I recently had the pleasure of staying one nite in Lancaster PA. I had 3 hrs the first afternoon and 2 hours the next day before continuing home from FL to Cape Cod. I managed to hit The Old Country Store, Zooks and a few others the first day and Burkholders the next morning. I did my fair share of supporting the local economy but boy would I love to spend more time there (AND during a Quilt Show Weekend AND with other quilters)! I was there several years ago as a new quilter and was just as awed this time!

Sounds like you had a great time with the limited time you had available.

I love shopping there when I have a project or so to buy for. I'm very fortunate that it's only a couple of hours away so it's worth my time and gas to go when I have a reasonable amount to buy. Glad you had a good time.

That's great! I recently bought some fabric online, but it is so much more fun seeing it in person.

Zook's is two hours away and I've been there four times in the last three months! LOVE that store!

Sounds like you had a great trip! I get to spend two days next week there - thanks to another post all of those places are on my to do list!!
