I like to use the term "cuddle" size...meaning at least one person could cuddle under it on a couch (or sleep under it on a couch). And the order of 56x70 or so works for that.
In my opinion, a 36x36 quilt is truly a lap quilt, e.g., for a person in a wheelchair. |
