Does anyone have any intstructions for lap quilting with pictures?
I would like to learn how to lap quilt.

Hi Lila,
Go ahead, join our group, you'll find a lot of information on any subject you want. There are so many folks here that do EVERYTHING quilting and ANYTHING quilting.

I learned from a friend that lap quilting is simply doing the hand stitch on a quilt of choice. Another told me that it was using a small frame and quilting, so my advice is to do a search here and on google. I'd bet there as many opinions as there are quilters.

and mine is..................if you hold in your lap to do it, it's lap quilting, with or without a frame

Lap quilting usually means quilting individual blocks and then assembling them afterward. Georgia Bonesteel has a few very good books on lap quilting.
