I am looking for inspiration. I have a really great fabric that has large crosses on it and I need to make a block that shows off a large print.
So, what is your favorite "large print block" pattern?

Thanks a bunch!

The ones that come to my mind are:

Warm Wishes and then the BQ, BQ2, & BQ3

I made this quilt from scraps, but you could use all the same fabric for the large blocks.

"Just can't cut it" uses 12" blocks that is really nice for large prints. It is really easy!

Attic window works well, as does sq in a sq.

The disappearing 9 patch is a good one too...depends on how big the focus fabric is...just use it for for the main squares for the corners...then don't get cut and stay the same size you make them. You can adjust it to any size starter squares you want to use..

Kaffe Fassett fabrics tend to have large prints, so try http://images.google.com/images?q=ka...w=1116&bih=527 for inspiration. http://carolinapatchworks.com/blog/2008/10/page/3/ caught my attention, I love the framing of the circles fabric.
