Laser printed labels, need feedback.
I just designed my own quilt label in EQ7, and printed it on inkjet fabric coated paper on work's laser printer. This is my first attempt, as I need the label soon. I am wondering if the color printing stays on the fabric after washing? Any brand printer fabric/paper is better than others. I am excited that I could design the label, it turned out real nice - then the doubts and concerns took over. Does it last? Any suggestions, such as fixing spray to keep the ink on the label, etc.

Inkjet fabric sheets are meant to go through an inkjet printer. I'm not sure what will happen if you used a laser printer.

I'm pretty sure that fabric prepared for inkjet requires inkjet printing to not wash out. Laser printing requires a different fabric prep process. You can Google to find specifics about printing on fabric using each type of printer. They are not interchangeable.

Laser printers run hot and you risk setting the injet sheets on fire. It's not the fabric thats a danger, just the chemicals used in the printer sheets. A past thread may help you out.
