well, i finished sewing my jelly roll race... learned a lot! it still needs pressing. i also trimmed two of the new living room windows... the sewing was much more fun :)

I just sat down to read the board and saw this. I finished a quilt that I had the top all put together so I free motioned quilt it and bound it. Feels good to finish something.

I just saw this thread but I didn't go to church because of s cold, so I spent the day hand sewing the binding on the quilt I made for our bed, today I will finish the shams. Here are pictures of the quilt and the backing.

This woman calls the quilt, Road to Tennessee, but I know the patch as Indian Hatchet, from Quilter's Cache.

yes, slanted stars is what I usually call it too. I like that better than Indian Hatchet. Calmer imagery, in my mind.

Actually, the gray is really green. Very Christmassy. The fabric came from my dear QB buddy, rfbrazell.
