How brilliant
The bargain fabric has arrived and it has not let me down, The pattern is larger than I thought but that does not matter. I thought I would save it to use as a backing for my single bed quilt I plan to make at some point. If I get it right I want to be able to use the quilt as a reversible quilt. So I need to plan carefully and find top fabric that will compliment it. I am so excited as the colours are so delicate and subtle. I must be patient though and not rush into anything because as sure as God made little apples I will cock it up like my first attempt at a block. So easy tiger one step at a time. As the saying goes: Every thousand mile march must start with the first step. |
Great news Joan, now are we going to be able to ogle it? how about a photo or two to whet our appetite?

That's so pretty Joan, now when you are planning your quilt top, just think how pretty it would be to 'quilt' following the pattern on this!! |
