I decided to get my friends baby quilt all done today...so I started quilting it and was about 80% done...flipped it over to check the back and guess what...my tension was off and I suppose I need to slow down a bit! Ugh :( lesson learned. Guess I can start ripping out the stiches now! Glad it isnt a huge quilt or I might have cried haha.

That's terrible but it looks like it will be easy to rip out. Have fun! :-)

It probably isn't your tension. You're moving the quilt too fast and the machine is going too slow.

Hugs! I hate ripping!

Funny - I just posted a thread about a problem with THIS SAME FABRIC for the back of my quilt!

I was going as slow as possible... but I did change the tension before I started...guess it might have been a combination of both though. Oh well I have until the end of the month anyway to get it done.

Think positive right!? This means it wasnt ment to have that quilting design! Lol

I think you're right on that one. I was really trying to go as slow and consistant as possible...guess my machine just didnt agree!

Ditto. I just decided to take apart some blocks I sewed together when I was 12 yo, and the stitches are so small, I can barely get the ripper under them. I'm at the point I might just cut the seams and start with smaller blocks.

It's not ripping out... be policality correct... its "unsewing your seam"
