Learning to service Berninas
I would like to learn to service and clean my own Bernina 350. I'm not talking about cleaning and oiling the bobbin, which I do once a week or so. I'm talking about the yearly service that costs $100 at the Bernina sewing shops where they undo the machine and oil and clean all the parts.
Does anyone know how I might get trained to do this? Is there a training program or videos about this? I have noticed that sometimes shop keepers' husbands suddenly offer this service - where do they learn how to do it? Thanks for feedback on this... Lainey |
You have to go to Bernina school and get certified. If you are not certified, working on your machine other than oilng voids your warranty. If you have a local Bernina dealer, check with them.

I agree. You have to take some sort of class from them to get certified.
