Learning to service Berninas

I would like to learn to service and clean my own Bernina 350. I'm not talking about cleaning and oiling the bobbin, which I do once a week or so. I'm talking about the yearly service that costs $100 at the Bernina sewing shops where they undo the machine and oil and clean all the parts.

Does anyone know how I might get trained to do this?

Is there a training program or videos about this?

I have noticed that sometimes shop keepers' husbands suddenly offer this service - where do they learn how to do it?

Thanks for feedback on this...

You have to go to Bernina school and get certified. If you are not certified, working on your machine other than oilng voids your warranty. If you have a local Bernina dealer, check with them.

I agree. You have to take some sort of class from them to get certified.
