Would anyone know of the pattern for Lemoyne Star? It has 8 points and I need directions that are not too difficult. I would be most appreciative to find such a pattern to buy or to find on the internet. Thank you. :?:

I have just finished a Lemoyne Star using a ruler I bought at a quilt show. So simple and no "Y" seams. I've loaned my ruler to a friend so I don't have the web site, but if you google "deb tucker lemoyne star ruler" you'll find several sites, plus the tutorial. I am now inspired to make a whole quilt with the Lemoyne Star.

or this one:

Here's a tut on youtube:

I just did a couple for a swap here is the one method I use:
http://www.andoverfabrics.com/Quilts/Keystone.pdf

this can be tricky because you stitch in a Y for your center triangles.

Hope this helps you out! They are beautiful done in one fabric as they are in several fabrics! Have Fun!

Oh and one tip to keep in mind when doing these use a scant 1/4" seam allowance & press your seams well. I pr

Thank you so much everyone. I looked at the rulers Jan suggested and got totally confused. DUH! Sorry I'm new at this. But "onthelake" gave a great site "Deb Tucker" and she gave a tutorial on how to do the Lemoyne Star. If you go to Studio180design.net, this is her site. She sells that ruler but I thought it was expensive $29.95. I will try to get it somewhere else before I order it from her site. I love the videos, I can make so much more sense from them when I actually see them explain the procedure. Thank you so much for helping me ladies. This is the best site in the world!!!
