Everything in Canada is more expensive than it is in the States. Why, I'm not sure but the simple answer is probably because they can charge more. Seriously, I think import fees etc. all add up to increase prices. Cars, I'm not sure because some of them are made here in Canada & they are still more then in the U.S. Out of curiosity I just bought a new sewing machine a Husqvarna Epic & the suggested retail price is $15,000. here I would love to know what the price for this machine is in the U.S. Anybody know ?? I bet you can get it cheaper in the U.S. then in Canada.

I only shop there in emergencies (one is a 1/4 mile from my place...so tempting). I only go if I really need something.
I found a better place in cambridge. [email protected]

Well I stand corrected!

Connectingthreads.com has a lovely white on white with swirls on it that I just love for $5.96 a yard U.S. I've never been unhappy with their fabric.

Heads-up for the Len's followers .............

Spooktacular Special ....30% off any fabric with orange in it, even if it has just a fleck of orange.
Better still, it does not have to be Halloween related fabrics!

According to the flyer, this sale is only until Sunday 18th.
However, similar past sales have usually run for considerably longer.
Maybe until Halloween? Or perhaps there will be different colours with each flyer until then?

Happy Orange Shopping!
