I was so proud of my homemade light box, but I can't see through the busy prints - especially the dark ones. What good is this going to do????? Am I doing something wrong? The light underneath the box is PLENTY bright, so what's the deal? Please help.

no you are not doing anything wrong. some prints are just too dark to see the tracing design. You might make the paper pattern darker and heavier black lines.

What are you tracing? I wanted to put an embroidery pattern on a dark T shirt, but I couldn't figure out how to trace it for the same reason you said, so I traced it on fusible interfacing, ironed it to the wrong side of the T shirt, and then stitched. It worked out okay...

Hope that helps!
